This policy explains how Eeloka Realty ("we", "us") handles personal information on eeloka.com, in the Eeloka Realty and Eeloka ERP mobile apps, and in the Eeloka ERP software used by builders and their teams. If you have a question, contact us using the details at the end.
1. What we collect
- Enquiries and site-visit requests: your name, phone number, email (optional), the property you asked about and your message.
- Your account (if you create one): name, email, phone, a securely hashed password, your role (buyer, owner or agent), shortlisted properties, saved searches/alerts, site visits, reviews and requests you send.
- Listings you post (owners and agents): property details, prices and photos you upload.
- Buyers of a builder using Eeloka ERP: the builder records your booking, payment schedule, payments, receipts, invoices, PAN/address where needed for agreements and tax documents, and requests you raise in your buyer portal.
- Staff and partners using Eeloka ERP: name, username, email/phone and the actions you take (kept in an activity log).
- Payments: when you pay online, the payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment reference and amount; we never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Technical information: a session cookie to keep you signed in, your settings stored on your device (for example your shortlist), and basic server logs (IP address, time) used for security and to stop abuse.
2. How we use it
- To answer enquiries, arrange site visits and connect you with the property's owner, agent or builder.
- To run your account, alerts and buyer portal, and to send you emails about them (for example payment reminders, receipts and replies).
- For builders: to manage inventory, bookings, collections, GST invoices, commissions and handovers.
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- The lister of a property you enquire about (owner, agent or builder), so they can contact you.
- The builder you booked with, for everything about your booking.
- Service providers that run the service for us: our hosting provider (Hostinger), our payment processor (Razorpay) and email delivery. They may only use the data to provide their service.
- Authorities when the law requires it.
For builders' ERP data, the builder decides what is recorded about their customers and staff; we process it on their behalf and keep each company's data separate.
4. Mobile app permissions
- Camera and photos: only when you choose to attach a photo (for a listing, construction update, snag or request).
- Notifications: to tell you about payments, replies and updates. You can turn them off in your phone's settings.
- Fingerprint / Face ID (Eeloka ERP app): to lock the app. This is checked by your phone; we never receive your biometric data.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries and accounts are kept while they are useful to you and for a reasonable time after. Booking, payment and tax records are kept as long as the law requires (usually up to 8 years in India). When you delete your account, your profile, shortlist, alerts and saved data are removed; enquiries already sent to a lister and records a builder must keep for tax or legal reasons may be retained.
6. Your choices and rights
- See or correct your details under My Account โ Profile.
- Delete your account at any time: see how to delete your account.
- Stop emails by turning off alerts in your account, or by contacting us.
- Ask us for a copy of your information or to delete it, using the contact details below.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, per-company separation of ERP data, limits on repeated sign-in attempts and access controls by role. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us if you notice anything unusual.
8. Children
Our services are meant for adults buying, selling or renting property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell account holders by email about important changes.
10. Contact and grievance officer
We aim to respond within 7 days and to resolve complaints within 30 days.
